About: I am an assistant professor of computer science at the College of Computing and Software Engineering at Kennesaw State University (KSU). Prior to joining KSU, I served as a postdoctoral research associate at Northeastern University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my BSc, in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Additionally, I have been a program committee member for the IEEE VR, IEEE ISMAR, and ACM VRST conferences and have reviewed for top conferences and journals such as IEEE VR, IEEE ISMAR, CHI, ACM VRST, and TVCG. Research Interests: My primary research interests encompass intelligent extended reality (IXR), multimodal contextual learning in XR, and human-centered computing. I am particularly interested in applying intelligence in XR to address different challenges in health and rehabilitation, immersive user experiences, education, and training. At Kennesaw State University, I lead the Human-Centered Immersive eXperience Lab (HIX-Lab), where we undertake multidisciplinary research in human-centric computing, multimodal contextual learning, virtual and augmented reality, and immersive user experiences. My research has been published at prestigious top-tier conferences such as the IEEE Virtual Reality (VR), the IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR), and the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR).
